Library Books Queens Public Library, Astoria New York, May 3 2006 edition of three artist books 2006-2009 This project uses a reiterative xerographic process to make artist's books. Using the same technique I employed in making my film Errata, I created a set of seventy photocopies. The copies were made at the Queens Public Library in Astoria, New York, which is the public library closest to the apartment workshop where the first photocopy was made in 1938. To make the books, I photocopied three duplicate sets of the original set of copies. Then I had the original copies and the three duplicate sets bound using a traditional library binding.
